The original battery still charges well and holds charge. Used it for less than 2 years and after that put in a box where its been sitting until now. It ran from flash memory but would not finalize the last step of sync. It used to work intermittently but not anymore.
The metal back is a bit pitted where the clip was making contact with it for all these years. The poly carbonate front is a bit scratched but I reckon nothing some Poly watch can't fix. The photos look like the top part is dead because of refresh rate vs camera's. Screen is in great condition - no dead pixels and still nice bright.
Selling my beloved E407. Check the video to get a better idea. I've used symphonic to sync music. I never sold it since absolutely adore the design but think its time to pass on someone who is actually going use and keep alive now that retro WiFi in.
Original clip is included and in great condition. All settings are still accessible with only the UP button as menus loop. THE BAD: The DOWN/REW button does not work. Visible in the photos.
The silver paint from the play button and jog has peeled in places. Bought it new back in 2005. A copy of it is already uploaded to the flash memory. I'm the original owner.
THE GOOD: All functions work great except the DOWN/REW button.
