It plays just about every format music file I think. I have tested it with a 32gb card not included and think Rock box supports up to 128gb but I m not sure. I m just selling this one because I have another that's the same. Sandisk Sansa Clip in blue.
Screen has no issues. Any blank spaces on screen in pictures is due to refresh. My favorite out of all the Sandisk types players. In my opinion Rock box works better on the Clip than any other Sandisk or iPod.
And back clip works great. I loaded dual-boot Rock box on this and it works great.
